I just want to go through some tips and tricks that I have learned over the past couple of years - trying to style my hair and all of that! I want to give you all some detail on what I do personally, what I have found works best for me, and pass them along to you!

I have naturally, super curly (sometimes frizzy) hair and with that I have found a couple of products that I really like:

After I get out of the shower I leave my hair pretty damp and apply this Curl Talk Defining Cream. I like to put just a little bit through my hair so that way it kind of helps with the frizz and helps really define those curls. Then I let it air dry for the rest of the time!

The less heat you can put on your hair the better - at least for me! But if you are in a time crunch and you do need to blow-dry your hair (and you have curly hair like me), I always go in with a diffuser! It diffuses the air so that way it is not so harsh on your hair and deflating your curls.

After my hair has completely air dried I go in with my 1-inch curling iron and touch up the top half of my hair a little bit, especially around my face.

A couple other GO-TO products that I really like:

I actually just ran out of the shampoo in this brand but I love the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Conditioner. I think it really helps with my frizz, defines my curls a little more, and gives my hair the much, much, much needed hydration it needs.

I also use this Not leave-in conditioner spray that I just spray on the ends, especially at night so when I sleep my hair gets that extra moisture it needs.

I also have this Shea Moisure Leave-in Treatment. I just spray a little bit in my hand, rub them together, and then run it through the ends of my hair at night after I put the leave-in conditioner in.

For me, I think it just helps in protecting against getting split ends, helps with my frizz, and helps keeps my curls hydrated!

So this is my go-to game day hairstyle - pretty easy! Again everyone is different, everyone’s hair is different, but this is just what I have found that works for me and works best for my hair.

Feel free to take any of the tips that I have given and let us know how you like it in the comments below!
